Need help dissasembling glock 10rd 9mm mag???

So I'm at the point of almost giving up, I understand that there are 2 tabs under the plate , but they don't move no matter how hard I squeeze the sides... is there something different about the gen 4 mags? I'm ready to take a screw driver to the damn thing and I need help taking it apart please lol

I pushed the button in, and squeeze the sides like all the guides say, but the mag is waaaaay to sturdy for me to be able to do that technique.

any idea why I can't take it apart? It a Gen. 4 10rd 9mm mag

I've never had much luck with the squeeze method myself. I usually use the pry it off with a screwdriver method.

Push the button in with a punch. With the button pushed (way) in, use the punch to provide enough leverage to slide the bottom plate off.

stick the screw driver / tool on the button hole in such a way that points towards you. Really stick it well... dont just push the button in and think you are done. The screwdriver/tool should be half way in, and again pointing towards you (handle away from you)

Now just pull the handle towards you firmly. Done.

I can open open them this way in literally 2 seconds. Forget about pushing any tabs.
