QQ-A-225/8 T651 Bar

If you google QQ-A-225/6 the first hit returns "Aluminium Alloy - ASTM & FED-QQ - QQ-A-225/6 T351 Bar"

OK, I actually googled "00-A-225/6" and google corrected it. The above is the first result I got, but the third result if I search "QQ-A-225/6"

We have a conflict of reads, T-651 or T-351? I think I agree with swatgig, but what do I know about reading billet aluminum.

Not sure what a proper spec # is but on the far left edge of the bar I can see a ..24 meaning 2024 ? Ryerson largest round size wise is listed as 3"'.

Don't know if it's a cold processed or extruded billet. I do know it dam heavy

You need to go back further in time to Colin Chapman of F1 Lotus cars of the early 60's. So you haven't been doing it wrong if the time span is the last 20 years.

If you are worried about what alloy you are making something out of, you buy the alloy you are looking for.

If the alloy doesn't matter, this is your lucky day.
