I recently picked up this Beretta 1200 that I want to add a magazine extension to but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. If you look at the pic below, the barrel is held in place by the bolt at the end of the existing mag tube. I was thinking of removing the end cap and tig welding an ext. on directly but then I'm left trying to hold the barrel. Does anyone know if a tube clamp would be ok here or should I figure out another plan to maybe weld a new ring onto the barrel and hold it in place with a screw on tube ext?
