I could not get here from work from 11am to 1pm. I hope they have not blocked NES at work. What would I do all day?

Don't laugh. It could happen at any time. I found out a few weeks ago that my place of employment just secretly installed Websense and is now actively tracking web use and the sites visited. Luckily I'm in IT and heard about it before to much time had passed. Seems the folks in AU are getting ready to bring the hammer down on people. From what I heard they've already collected enough stats to fire 40% of the staff for perusing non-compliant internet sights. A few inquiries and I find out these non-compliant sites are porn and sports. [rolleyes]

So I figure I'll log out of the network and use my wireless card on my laptop to get to the internet. I found out yesterday that they are creating a SMS package to all laptops that will track internet activity at the laptop lelvel. Have to find out where it's loaded and see if I can disable it somehow. Geez, it's like they actually want me to work for my money. [sad2]

My connection has run fine all day. Checked the forum this morning for a second at around 7:30 am, then during my lunch break at 12 pm, and after work with no interuptions.

Every once in a while when I try to get on during my lunch break, NES times out. I'd normally chalk it up to spyware from surfing porn sites but other sites work fine. [laugh]

I couldn't access NES at all yesterday. All other sites were fine. Today is fine (obviously).

Everything is fine today.

So what does this mean anyway? What is good and what is bad?
