They have a 3-inch subcompact too. I am SO ALL OVER THAT ONE. I just wish they had released it a couple of months sooner. That way I wouldn't have bought the PARA.![]()

And since you're carrying in a holster, the extra 1" of slide really doesn't change concealability much.
I like 'em, the 3" is too small for my taste. I should have my full size .45 in a couple of weeks.
What's the "Ro Co" on the grip of the 9mm?
Not to derail the thread, but the 10mm Night Guard is really interesting.
I wish they'd make a 10mm 1911 in a commander sized frame. I'd be first in line to buy that.

Well, that didn't last too long. I have been told that there are no immediate plans to have the new 3-inch 1911 added to the AG's firearm roster. So, once again, the rest of the country will get to enjoy a nice new gun from S&W but we who live in MA get the shaft. I f***ing hate this state.![]()

You mean the EOPS roster? The AG's office does not publish a roster.
This is kinda odd considering that S+W eventually gets most of their guns on the EOPS roster.

There might be hope for me and a 9MM 1911 after all![]()
Only $1,600 too...heck the local gun store might have one for $1,350, that's a lot for a 1911 that saws S&W on it. While, I own and like Smiths, for over a 1K you can get some nice stuff in free states![]()
Looks like a Performance Center gun.
Unfortunately, I do not think it is (or it would probably run over 2K) - instead it's a "pro-series" gun.
What sucks is that for the price this thing will cost, one could pick up a Kimber Warrior or an "entry level" Ed Brown. Painful. I just wish some of these companies (particularly for 1911s which are easy to test) would submit their pistols to MA. I know are laws are confusing etc, but S&W does it. Throw Us a bone!
Honest question: Do you really think either of those would be significantly better than an S&W?
