What's with these 0 messages, 0 likes, 0 feedback, non-Green "members" who join only to send you a PM with an insulting low ball offer for an item(s) you have for sale?

Any offer within 10% off I'll consider, but I'm going to select "ignore" instead of politely saying no to any new cheapskate "offers".

Yeah those newbies are annoying but I'll also be the first person to say that when I see some of these ads I'm pretty sure the sellers are smoking crack or something some of the prices are actually worse than new retail most people don't want to play unless they're going to save at least a hundred bucks over just walking into a gun shop

It's not just the newbies. Some of my quickest and easiest sales were to people that just signed up to make the purchase. I've been hit with 4 or 5 what I would consider low ball offers and all came from well established members.

Oh, by the way, to the sellers. If you have to bump something 10 or 20 times, and your ad is 1-3 years old, it might, just might, be priced wrong. Or you're smoking crack like @drgrant said....

You should have taken it, those boots are only worth $5.67 :)

What's with all these posts lately! First it's "Oh dear me, FFL's are posting in Classifieds!", now we're on "Oh dear me, people are challenging my overpriced guns!".

Pick a lane people!

I sold a gun to a newbie last sat. Was here for a month. No posts no feedback.

texted beforehand and the deal went really well (he was just a bit late).

Have him pos feedback

Have another potential sale this sat. Same. Newb with no posts or feedback.

Seems legit.

And nope. In neither case am I discounting.

Scams and shitty buyers are easy to spot.

It happens. Be smart

If I want something here I'm willing to pay the ask. On things I was interested in but thought were overpriced I offered slightly lower, like 10% and was rebuked.
Blackmore seems to be reasonable in his pricing. Others not so much.
He does seem reasonable. I went checking expecting crazy prices. Around here if he wrote a free ad they would want him to pay to take it.

Don’t waste your time even responding to stupid questions and way off ‘offers’.
Those people never intended to buy nothing. eBay is the same way.

What percentage was the "insulting low ball" at?

Maybe it is the same long time member with new burner accounts each time. He might be attempting to grind you down to a reasonable price, $20 for used Ryobi laminate trimmer is just too damn much! 😅
