So I bought a nice stainless Model 66 and decided to attack it with a Dremel polishing wheel. Most of it came out nice but I can't get the finish really even. I'm wondering if there is something I can do to bring back the regular stainless hazy finish to it?

If not, are there any shops I can bring it to who can do something on the spot and not wait for a month? I'm thinking of maybe just having it bead blasted.

Ian, you might want to give Lewis Arms in Bow NH a call at 603-228-9994.

They do gunsmith work. Not sure how much cosmetic work they do but I've heard his gunsmithing is good.

you could mirror polish it if you has the time, some 2500 wet/dry paper and some metal polish, or if you are looking for the brushed finish on the flat edges you need to drag if over some 1500 paper in a straight line the longer the paper and the straighter the pull the better. It is really best done with a belt sander
