I have two teenage boys facing a very questionable future. I watch as our rights and liberties are turned into privileges. Human beings are being fleeced and managed like cattle. By small business is in a death spiral and get by on a collection of part time jobs like I haven't seen since high school. Although I have a college education and try to live my life by the virtues installed in me by my grandparents, I still fail to see light at the end of the tunnel unless we (the people) get off our collective asses and fix the problems ourselves.
Please take a moment to review a candidate named Bill Gunn. I pasted a post I made earlier today. Since it's John Olver's congressional seat that is in danger, I would hope that there's some people on NES that would be quite interested in researching Bill Gunn.
Despite having no national media coverage, the enormous grassroots network of volunteers that gravitated to Bill Gunn has put him within striking range of that socialist piece of crap, John Olver, for US Representative of Massachusetts District one. To put what is happening in perspective, Bill (upon returning from his arrest in DC protesting Obamacare) announced his intention to run with less than four weeks to get the required signatures to get on the ballot. An unknown number of volunteers (in state and out) flooded in to the district and gathered over 4,200 VALIDATED signatures in about 3 1/2 weeks. Election officials simply stopped counting at 4,263 and more were still coming in.
We've done over 20 Town Hall meeting, throughout the district and he's been extremely well received. Unlike Olver, who has a large warchest and teacher / labor unions ready to launch attack ads, Bill is using his civic message in place of millions in campaign dollars to get him elected. The good news is that it appears to be working. The bad news is that we're running out of time.
The first district of Massachusetts is so large, area wise, that we really need your help to cover the district. Although the campaign will be airing TV and radio commercials, funds may be the limiting factor regarding visual exposure. Canvasing routes and phone banking parties are being organized and implemented as I write this. Please consider offering some of your time to the campaign team. [email protected]
This is a winnable election! The last poll put Bill within 10 points and during the Primary we noted that 20-50% of Democrats that pulled a democratic ballot, DIDN'T vote for Olver. This is HUGE! Here are just a few reasons why your average voter is responding to Bill's message.
* Supports States Rights.
* Supports Audit the Fed.
* Supports Question #3
* Repeal Obamacare.
* Parental Rights.
* Dept. of Ed, Dept. of Ag, Dept.of Commerce, Dept. of.... ALL OPTIONAL
* Reduce Size & Scope of Government.
What I find particularly interesting is related to the media. If Bill Gunn wins this election without even a single blip of the National news, it just may cause many more people to ask them selves who really owns the media. How can a citizen go from being a roofer in the Spring to unseating a 20 years socialist incumbent from his federal position, in the Fall, without hearing a peep?
Scott Brown turned out to be a turd in the punch bowl! Bill Gunn is the real deal and will rock their sinking ship if elected. Given the depth of the cuts and limits to federal authority that Bill stands for, the lack of support from those big government hacks in the GOP shouldn't be of any surprise.
Although we're already gearing up for the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign, let's start early by sending Ron Paul a friend in Congress. Please spread this to your contact list and join the team. The ultra-liberals are freaking out all over the district because Bill Gunn signs have COVERED THE DISTRICT. They steal them and we put them right back up. They attack Bill in the local papers and unknown supporters hammers them. Since all they have to rely on is Olver's voting record and dirty tricks, everything they try to do seems to be backfiring on them.
