OWB Kydex holsters

Have you looked at Safariland 5378 or 6378 holsters ? The 5378 is tighter to the body, 6378 more of a duty type concealment holster. I have both for an M&P45 and M&PShield9. Either one cost about $45-50 depending where you find them.

The $90 one is leather bonded to Kydex, maybe yours is only Kydex?

No that's the one, I bought it like 6 years ago. That's what I didn't like about it, the leather flexes and doesn't hold the gun in tight.

The paddle is all kydex, that's the one one I just got.

I did look at them, I bought the Comp-tac. I actually have a drop leg Safariland on my battle belt. Very nice holster.
