I was just testing fit in gun. I will start loading them this weekend.

I use a 54 Richmond sharp’s civil war Carbine bullet. I used tracing paper for body rolling paper for base I glue base on body then I will load 40 grains of 2F glue bullet to body. Then I will dip lube bullet I had to measure chamber to get overall of case. You want it as close to block as you can. I didn’t nitrate paper I don’t think it’s necessary. I could if I want some tree stump removal can be use.

Pretty cool man. I always wanted a BP sharps but I’m sticking with the 45-70 for now.

IAB it’s in very good condition. I know some are not so good.

Awesome. Some day I’ll order a Shiloh and sell off my Pedersoli. If I do that I think I’m go BP and a longer 45 cartridge. Just for giggle.

I got lucky finding a Shiloh sharps 1863 new model brand new on consignment.
