Decided that I wanted an unconventional rifle for shooting recreationally, perhaps running some impromptu 3Gun matches with my friends, so I picked up this little guy:

Busmaster ACR Basic. I paid $1,500 for it to my FFL, but the funny part is that I'm probably going to dump the same amount back into it in parts and such. The barrel is going to ADCO for profiling to a lightweight contour, along with a pinned and welded Battlecomp 2.0 on a 14.5" barrel. Geisselle Super ACR trigger, and finished off with an Enhanced buttstock, as the basic stocks LOP is kinda short.

In January I'll probably have my trust finished, and it's going to get a pair of NFA accessories, namely a 12.5" medium contour barrel and (Probably) a Gemtech G5. Those will be my first ever stamps.

Thought I'd show it off because even though these guns are production, they aren't exactly common. Enjoy. [grin]

I hope you have better luck with your ACR than I did. Mine went back to Bushmaster 3 times for repairs over the course of 10 months (mainly because they had a 4-5 week turn around time for their little BS repairs or replacement parts). It sucks, I really really wanted to like this rifle and spent a lot of money in aftermarket parts, customization, and NFA tax stamp. It's now added to my 'safe queen' collection and probably won't ever be taken out to the range again. I've been saving my pennies for an SCAR16S and should be purchasing one of them soon. Hopefully I'll have a better experience with it.
