Drove down to East Hartford to Cabela's for my deal. Here's the breakdown:

Hornady Lock-N-Load AP Press: $369.99
Coupon for in-store purchase: ($70.00)
Cabela's Club Visa points: ($70.00)
1000 bullets free offer: ($269.59)
Shipping for the bullets: $12.95

TOTAL: FREE

Only downer - Cabela's didn't have any of the parts and pieces (ie shell plates) I needed, but I can get them cheaper at Midwayusa anyway.

First up - .45 ACP and .44 Mag rounds

Great deal. I have an L-N-L and like it a lot.

BTW, if you're going to crimp in the last station, get a Hornady crimp die. Lee dies hit the ejector wire.

great

Congrats on your press, great deal. But i have to agree that
the $270 for 1000 bullets is stretching it a little to far. But from what
i've seen in catalogs the Hornady bullets seem on the high side.

For those of you with the LNL - do you find most dies will work OK (the problem with the Lee die aside)?

Yes.

The only problem I've run into with any dies are that certain crimp dies in the last station hit the ejector wire. I know the Lee dies are too long, and probably others. I solved the problem by grinding the bottom of the die until it no longer interfered. Hornady dies (obviously) are OK and I have some Redding dies that work too.

Other than that, everything works.

EDIT: One more thing, get a handgun rotor for your powder measure. The L-N-L ships with a rifle rotor that doesn't throw small charges all that well.

Also, feel free to PM me if you have any questions setting it up.

Over the past few months I've bought a Hornady L-N-L Classic (single stage) and four sets of Hornady dies. I sent the paperwork in for my 900 bullets earlier this week.
