I have tried Pin shooting and really enjoy the challange. It sure looks like you cant miss from that short range but it's easy to do. What would be a good pin load powder? It either should be slow and pushy or fast and strong. Also, what is considered the best bullet style and weight? I initially was shooting Winchester NT because of the flat nose 230 grain bullets. Now I have a bunch of this brass...but thats another topic. Thanks..

A 255 grain swc bullet is what really takes pins off the table. I used to use 700x for the powder, but haven't shot pins for a long time, so don't remember the charge. Try a load that will give you about 800 fps.
I take it that you're knocking them off a table with a 3 foot distance to the back edge.
