PCP has been trying to market their polymer cases with traditional jacketed bullets with the notable ka-boom failures. There's another company selling polymer bullets with brass cases. This is the first company I've seen which has polymer cases featuring a polymer bullet. Interesting technology which will probably take years to get right.

Georgia-based PolyCase Ammunition has developed innovative polymer-based composite cartridge cases and injection-molded bullets. With a patent-pending design, the polymer cartridge cases are lighter than brass or steel cases, yet are heat-tolerant, and relatively easy to manufacture. These cases will be initially produced for .223 Remington, plus a variety of pistol cartridge types (.380 ACP, .38 SPL, 9mm Luger). PolyCase cartridge cases blend patented heat-resistent polymers with metal elements in the case base

I remember shooting the old Natec PCA .223 back in the day. It was good for plinking but it would get soft and jam if you were running on the hot side. If PCP fixed that and can be more competitive in pricing, I'll give it a whirl.

Can't remember the maker, but there's at least one company making plastic bullets and cases that are driven by primers. Decent accuracy real close and fun to shoot in the living room if you don't have close neighbors.
