Friday night Jan 16 2008

Open to all shooters, MVGC member or not. Help will be available at the club on Wed evenings Jan 7th and 14th for those that never shot PPC and want a walk through or anyone that wants to brush up on PPC.

We met at the Pro-Am shoot at Harvard last fall. I think I'll still recognize you.

I plan to go. Last shot PPC in 1982 for a local police team. (I'm not a cop) Have always thought it was a very good measuring stick of ones ability to take a proper sight picture and control the trigger. Very different from all the other action shooting games except pins and bullseye. I think a lot of very good steel shooters will be surprised at how difficult this PPC will seem the first time they try it. But the good ones will learn very quickly.

I was hoping to make it, but it seems unlikely at the moment (80% chance I'm out). Next time though if I cant make it... I was talking to wmccurdy53 at the shoot last Sunday and it sounded like fun...
