Prepper Put on No Fly List, Escorted Off Plane Under Armed Guard

Phew.... for a moment I thought this was about me, until I realized I didn't remember the incident.

I'd better remember, when I go dark, not to access NES with my logon. I'll hijack MichaelJR instead, he's already on the list.

Sounds like the gov't doesn't like being outplayed. Where do I donate for the charter boat to get him back home?

His first mistake was posting on prepper boards......first rule about being a true prepper.....don't discuss prepping.

I wonder if theres any .gov moles on this site...

I doubt anyone would have to 'mole' a public access website. Even with paid membership, you think a $XX expense slip would stop someone from creating an account just to spy? They spend millions, if not billions, on computer tech that could crack the password protect in a matter of minutes.

And people here ask why I'm not a member of Oath Keepers. Lists can be compiled, stacked and compared, I choose to be on as few as I can be.

You mentioned DHS Office of Investigations once before in some thread. What is that? I know DHS has tons of 1811's, but I've never specifically heard of an Office of Investigations. Do you mean Office of Intel/Analysis?

They have branch in there doing Criminal Investigations, There was a thread here about a gun shop out your way that called in a problem about a possible straw purchaser, and DHS handled the case and jammed up the gun shop owners.

Oh I don't doubt it. I was just wondering if that was specifically what it was called.

EDIT: Just re-read the ABC article. It was an ICE agent. No mention of it was HSI, IEA, or whatever, but it was an ICE agent.

What has me confused is why DHS is sticking it's nose in DoD's business. It's a DoD flight, not a commercial flight.

It's too bad the law couldn't be modified at least to dictate that US citizens cannot end up on a no fly list without due process. (I'd rather see the whole ****ing thing go away, but that's even less likely than my idea. ).

Oh wait, that would make too much sense. And, US citizens can be dangerous too! Can't be trusted. It's for the chilllllldren, you see.....

The above post just put you on a list. They tracked your IP. Welcome to the club. [laugh]

If you're not with us, you're against us.....or so I heard.

I don't understand why the government doesn't like preppers... It's that must less aid they have to use in case of an emergency.

(**Deep inhale**)

Ahh, the sweet taste of freedom

Thats stinks...I DHS has to pay for his stay in HI.

Bahaha, trust me, you would never see a dime from them

Hicks planned to take a military flight back to California on Friday to meet his wife, who will be coming from Japan, and said he plans to seek to recoup his added travel costs from the government.

Good luck guy; The .gov still owes me over $6000... they're still "processing" the paperwork.

The gubbamint was running it's own prepping commercials just last week. Evidently, you have to do it their way to be okay.

I've never seen a govt prepping recommendation that includes defense preparations, just batteries/food/water/medicines/subservience to authority.

Did anyone read some of the comments on the ABC story? Some of those idiots are actually saying that he should not be allowed to fly because of his views!

here is a quote from one of the idiots:
Seriously, ABC? This guy is a member of "Patriots for America." I would suggest you read their mission statement. The true question is more likely, why is his wife allowed to serve in our military, as she answers to our Commander In Chief.

So agree - or be punished! It's like Star Trek episode with the Borg...

You only need to remain alive long enough for FEMA to come get you, which they seem to estimate at 3 days for some reason. 3 days... really... a lot of people who aren't preppers, if told they needed to prep for 3 days, would have to start throwing away excess food to get down to 3 days.
