So I figured I’d show this off but it might be time for a change on this rifle I’ve “finished”. Never am satisfied with any build

I like it. I’m just finishing it up and haven’t taken it out yet, but it’s pretty and it handles nice. I used the same PWS buffer tube set as you with the stock.

How’s the cf? Noticeably lighter?

See I wouldn’t say that alone is noticeably lighter, but it feels nice for rifle balance, I’m throwing a stream light on it so maybe In the long run with that and an IR it’ll help

Nice. That hand stop grip thing has me scratching my head though. Is that comfortable? Not sure I would even know how to grab it.

Shoots great, it’s a smooth impulse, the comp is made by SLR Rifle works. It’s the titanium comp to get the barrel from 14.5 to 16.1

Slick build. Do you know if the MOE SL is as thin as the MOE K? I have the MOE K on an AR9 build. I like the minimalist approach on that grip, but the MOE K is a bit too thin for my liking. If the MOE SL is any thicker, I'd be interested.

Someone on another forum broke it down as follows:

MOE - Standard Grip size with extended "beaver tail" back strap, standard angle

MOE + - Same as MOE with rubberized finish, standard angle

MOE K - Standard grip with no extended back strap, standard angle

MOE K2 - Standard Grip Size with extended "beaver tail" back strap and narrower grip angle

MOE K2+ - Same as K2 with rubberized finish

MOE SL - Slim Line Grip, standard angle

MIAD - Modular grip with interchangeable forward and back straps to customize grip to your hand, standard angle

This grip is all hard plastic, it’s pretty thin and I have big hands, don’t love it

Yes, I'm saying the SL model sounds like the K model but with a beaver tail.

The k is also a little bit shorter. My pinky barely makes it on the K. I have both (actually have experimented with just about every magpul ar grip) and honestly prefer the K since it’s the only one without a stupid beaver tail.

The K is short, agreed, and my build (completely build specific) kind of bites me at the joint between the grip and the lower. It doesn't line up as nicely as I would like, and I can feel the ridge on recoil. That was the only reason I was looking for a beaver tail.
