Question for Bird Experts

We've done this many times thru the years, nest with eggs on the swing set, patio, on my vintage gas pumps, etc.
We let the eggs hatch, babies eventually leave, then we shit can the nest so we can have our areas back. If they want another nest, they'll build one in a day or so.

Ya, that's where I'm at.

I have been cool letting nature be nature, but now I gotta clean birdshit off the siding and rail.

Usually, robins prefer to nest on hidden branches in foliage. She may have been bothering you because she built another nest nearby.
