I'm looking for a decent range in the Fall River area. Preferably in the 20 min range of travel. I was going to sign up to tiverton rod and gun but I missed the signup date and have been told there not accepting new members for 6 months. Thanks

There's Fall River rod and gun club actually located in westport, and I've never been but have always heard great things about Taunton.

Taunton is a great club to join, not too far from where you are located. Great indoor and outdoor ranges.

Anouther +1 for taunton, We have an indoor pistol range (pistols ONLY that is) that is open 24/7/365 and an outdoor range with 50/100 yard ranges (2 each) and a 300 yd range.
only Negatives for you is its a bit out of your deseried driving range, its $125 a year (+$25 for you key card +$150 for new member) and the skeet range is only open sundays and wed afternoons when the instructors are there (to keep anyone from useing there own throwers in the wrong directions or doing something else equaly stupid)

Taunton great club for the money. I'm in Swansea it takes me 25 min. Just cruising on the back roads. If u want to check it out this wknd PM me.

Plus one for taunton as well... I just joined a couple months ago and it's well worth it. The only downfall is the initial fee which is $300 but $125 a year after that, but that gives you 24 hour access to an indoor range and pretty much all daylight hours at an outdoor range.

Are there only certain signup dates ? Few people I know have joined tiverton but they only accept new members once a month

Fall river rod and gun is having a field day sept 20, sign up is a bit cheaper on field day, something like thw remainder of this year free. But 185$ forst year i believe if you dont have an NRA membership, pistol house hours kind of suck at the moment. But they put up surveillance and will have a card access in the near future so pretty much 24/7. No magnums in the pistol house but you can shoot .38 out of 357 but not 357. Skeet and trap, archery, sporting clays, ill be their for field day and there is a car show as well, free hotdogs for the kids, beach on the property and a couple boat ramps for the wattuppa pond

OK, so now it looks like I'll be spending a lot of time Dartmouth, is woodcock worth it or just keep driving back up to Taunton?
I saw that they don't allow guests so that means I can't bring anyone? Or do they have a day pass? Plan on sneaking over one afternoon to talk to who ever is there but was looking for current members take on it...
