Re-upped early as I'm heading to the hospital Monday morning for a planned hip surgery followed by a rehab for several weeks.
I just realized that this is going to be my 20th year on NES (October 2005), time is flying by.

Surgery went well on Tuesday and I can walk pretty good using crutches, could even climb stairs with the physiotherapist this morning.
All set for release to rehab tomorrow morning, but: First thing im the morning will be an x-ray of my lungs due to a suspicion of pneumonia....phuuuck!
I could use some good vibes with this, Thanks!

Update: Likely not the lung, probably the wound. Will know later.
Blood draw again tomorrow and hopefully being released then.
I'll try to stay home over the weekend and start rehab then.

CT: There's some residue in one of my lungs and they keep on pumping antibiotics into this old body. I'm feeling good though and am now looking at a possible release on Friday, weekend at home amd then off to rehab on Monday. Fingers crossed

Update: Infection is very likely in the leg and I'm going to be moved to the Giessen University Hospital for further Prozeduren tomorrow morning. Wait and see...
