I picked up a Right Handed Remington 1100 Magnum back in Jan. Now, wile i am a Lefty, ive been shooting my family members right handed guns for ages. Only now is the safty starting to bother me. So, My question is, Can I change the safety over somehow to a Left Handed Safty?

Bruce, no history with midway......but i bought one many years ago from http://www.tanksrifleshop.com/trs/i...lhsafety&sid=3f402r184159bri8e13906g48jnf3l8g still going strong on my 870

I then bought a secound one from brownells when they did sell them, it was crap. It was not of quality and continually rusted up. Brownells stood be hind it. Took it back and refunded my money. I have not seen them @ brownells last time I looked for one.

I'm a lefty too, and a couple of years ago I bought a new 870 super mag. I called Remington about the LH safety conversion and was told that I had to change out the whole trigger group. Maybe this is because of the mickey mouse lock thing they use. Jack.

I do believe a left hand trigger group would be for the left hand model 870. I am lefty also
I have not had much luck with LH model firearms. They seem to be designed by right handed people. The easiest way is to buy one of the units above. You can also drill a mirror image hole on the left side of the trigger group to be abple to flip the oem safety.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I just baught The conversion from Midway. Altho im not happy that they Nickel'd and Dime'd me. Part Cost $14.99. They Estimated $3 for shipping. They charged $7.90 for the shipping. then they tacked on a $3 charge for "Special Handling". All In all, im glad ill be getting the peace for the conversion, but im not glad to be paying $26 for a $14 part. I mean Really? $7.90 for shipping that little piece? /end Rant.
