Remington spartan rifles

Does anyone know if Remington still imports the Spartan Rifle from Russia?

As far as I know, SPR-18 and SPR-94 rifles are still being imported. They remain in the current 2010 Special Order Book at DSG...

Has anyone shot or handled a SP18? Does anyone have any insight on quality or accuracy? I was thinking of getting one in 7.62x39.
