Reputable Gunsmiths for Installing Piston Kit

Pretty much anyone would be able to do that since it’s the same as sliding a regular gas block on. Hope you didn’t choose a barrel nut that won’t work with it.

A general location helps unless you’re okay with recommendations far away from you.
 
i have a question on the topic - too lazy to google it...

are any piston kits out there to convert a usual carbine length AR15 in a standard upper like aero M4 into a bufferless configuration - so it would not have to have a buffer tube at all?

That's an interesting idea, to hide the recoil spring in the handguard.

it is a one thing i did not do yet, as i have 0 interest to buy a sig or anything else pre-made like that. would be a fun project to try.
but i am not sure if such a thing even exists, or can be easily fabricated.

Yeah. Closest I've seen is something like the BRN-180, but that uses a custom upper receiver
