I've forgotten where I got this piece from, but this it the first time I've exposed it to daylight in many years. I got it free from someone I've long since forgotten. It's not a shooter ... there's a hole in the barrel among other issues.

But I'd like to know it's origins. It's not really pretty enough to hang on the wall.

Anyone recognize this?

looks like a webley.

sort of like a Mk.6 but i don't think that's the exact model. here's a Mk.6:

I haven't found a Webley that matches very well. Looks like about a 44 cal. No markings at all, except on the frame, under the cylinder ... a "77" in one side and a smaller "14" on the other.

I wonder how my copy got to be in such poor condition? Except for the wood grips, it looks like it was buried in the ground for 50 years.
