We have NH (dating from pre-constitutional carry days),
and I only transport in MA + Northern New England.
So me suggesting NH was definitely just me sticking with what I know,
rather than casting a wider net.

i was buying a hunting rifle out in Colorado. The guy wants to see my license. I show it to him. He asks
"Hey massachusetts has all sorts of rules...they don't have any restrictions on this gun do they?"
I said "nah".
and he sold it to me.
So that is about the amount they care about Massachusetts peculiarities.
