waste of $$

i'm averaging 4-5k rounds of .223 during the spring/summer, and this is ammo that's taxing the internals of the rifle to the max. a little bit of CLP on a standard BCG....and i've never had a gun-related stoppage.

save your money, spend it on ammo.

It's not a bad thing to have some spare parts, and a spare bolt is one critical part to have. I think most here are just questioning the value of chrome.

Spare bolt, yes. Spare complete BCG is a waste.

That's all subjective. IMHO having a spare anything around is never a waste. You could use it to put together a new rifle, too, down the
road, or loan it to a friend when they show up with their Bushmaster with the loose gas key. [laugh]

We currently have a small lot of complete chrome bolts. These were made for a very high end co. and sell under that brand for over $100.00 each. We would like to sell off our over runs at $69.00 each. This is a real bargan for a chrome bolt. Sorry we do not have any chrome carriers.
