that's a sick ass rifle. i've loved it since it came out... i'll get one one of these days.

IIRC I think bpm990d did a review on that rifle here somewhere.

I would look for it and read it before considering buying it. I was less than impressed after I read his review.

really? that sucks ass. i'll have to look for it. i want the steyr scout that the one dude that shoots at the club with the range rover has. i actually think that guy is my neighbor but i don't exactly want to go knocking on their door and be like HEY MAN WHAT'S UP?! you know, in case it's not that guy...

either way the steyr is a killer rifle, i put two rounds in nearly the same hole at 200 yards effortlessly. i was shocked. pencil barrel shooting laser beams.

This is exactly how I felt. I trust his review far more the the gun rag felations I have read. An other member here that I trust got me hip to the Savage Scout, he said he loves his, and it is a little cheaper then the Ruger.

I had the chance, last week, to shoot one of these chambered in 7.62 x 39: http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-527-carbine/.
Sweet little rifle and beautiful stock! Amazing trigger too. It will be my choice for a scout type rifle in x39.

All this x39 fapping has me thinking that if I did go for a Scout in x39 I would probably shoot the piss out of it since it would be much cheaper to feed. Hrmmm
