Ruger .44 carbine recrown.

I have a Ruger.44 carbine that needs a recrown job. I called Ruger and because they stopped making them a while back all they could do for me is either buy it back ($ 450.) or give me one of three rifles, a 77/44, a .44 carbine "lever action" or a Hawkeye. I am in S.E. part of N.H. and would like to find a competent gunsmith who could do this.

Skips up by Rt 93 exit 23 or so - he's kinda backed up with work but a buddy swears by him
