On the left is the most recent, a K40 I bought here in the Republik of Taxachussetts. On the right is the XD45 I brought from Arizona when I moved here, my first gun. YES, despite the fact that it came legally in AZ with 13 round mags, I am the proud owner of several 10 rounders…. Can somebody PLEASE explain how 4x10 is somehow safer/less lethal than 3x13???

Oldest surviving piece, spring 1995, Dixie Gun Works .50 cal LH flint lock, cost $500 new. Great shooter, haven't taken it to the range in about 3 years.

Close second, summer 1995, bolt MM Mauser K98k, DOT1944, cost $100.

Third oldest, spring 1996, $50. Commission 88, Loewe 1890, bolt matches, rest doesn't.

First ever gun for me (I was 3 Years old) was a Japanese Arisaka, no pics, and i stupidly sold it at 19 years old, but i kept and still have the bayonet.

Heres my first "modern". Aquired in 2000. Before this, all i collected was civil war black powder arms. Had lots of m1's over the years, each maker, each SN range, 6 mils, NM's, snipers. but this one I kept due to sentimental value.

1943 Springfield m1 garand (refinished by DGR. mostly wwii parts, cept barrel, stock))
