EXCUSE THE JUNK MAG -Got an older Mercury Hermes saiga 74 for cheap and decided to do one of these fancy conversions used bulgy parts welded up holes...refinished some old wood....ceramic paint baked. etc... still waiting on alg trigger and mags to get here so I used a junker mag just for pics

I just recently sold my Arsenal 74, decided to get away from the 5.45's. Great looking rifle and outstanding work! Btw not many guys here give a shit about AK's, post that up on AKfiles and you will get a lot of good conversation.

Can we get some more info on how you refinished the wood? It looks fantastic.

I like it when someone gets rid of the old Saiga Gas and sight blocks and replaces them with what belongs on there. Was your barrel grooved for the lower handguard retainer? I had to cut the grooves on my 47.

Must have been carolina sorry for the mix up they were very easy to install

dnepro-mike;4896660]he doesn't have any bullet guides. did you mean carolina shooters supply? as far as i know they are only ones selling this stuff.[/QUOTE]
