Two different visions of what a 1911 carry gun by two different owners. One going for the classy look, the other the stealthy look.

This early Les Baer Commnader is stainless. Upgrades include a new 10-8 rear sight with "U" notch an XS small dor tritium front sight. The MSH was replaced with a "bobtail". Accent cuts and a bevel were added to the slide. The original beavertail was reshaped to comfort and a new custom contoured ambi safety was installed for a left handed shooter. New VZ grey grips were custom fit to the bobtail. The small detail pins and screws were polished bright. The barrel was fit with a thick flange EGW bushing and the crown deep beveled.

The next was a Springfield which needed new sights, onec again an XS small dor front and a 10-8 rear. A Smith and Alexander beavertail was fit, along with a Wilson thumb safety. The front strap was serrated to match a new MSH. The hammer is a new Harrison Design model and the trigger is also Harrison design. The project was finbished with Cerakote graphite black and a set of heavily textured grips.

Enjoy!
