Looking for information on said rifle. My uncle passed away last January, and he had this rifle. It is in fair condition as I see it. Looking for dates of manufacture, cleaning methods, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Savage 29B .22 pump rifle

Im a fan of the old 22s savage 29 is a cool little gun made from the 30s to late 60s.
I only know pre war had octagonal barrel and fancy wood. Post war is round and plain stock.
I had post war model. Sold all my guns 1999 to buy house. They are not worth much unless pristine.
As for cleaning a good cleaning with CLP should do plenty.
Fair condition your looking at 100$ maybe?
As for dating your rifle? I can't remember if mine had a serial number.
Post 1968 will have a serial #.
I believe by memory the B was late 50s. Mine was even later production as it had a groove for scope.
