Selling a firearm on the forum.

Good morning,

I'm curious why when I've posted a firearm for sale in the past, it never appears with a "New" indicator by my post like the others I've seen. I can't tell what I'm doing wrong. Can someone please give me a little guidance? Thank you.

I think that since you are the OP, it won't show up for you as New, but it will for everyone else. I think that the software thinks that since you wrote it, you've already seen it.

(Ackchyually, I've recently seen some mystifying behavior of orange New icons
reappearing once (and once only) on posts that I thought I had recently read.
Nothing I'd try to reproduce; most likely to be some aberrant behavior
with old Firefox preserving tabs over a restart).

But in general, FWIW I endorse your speculation.

The OP wrote "posted a firearm for sale in the past." And given a 2005 join-up date, one might assume the OP was a "green" member sometime in the past.
