Shotgun Stock Replacement

I have an old Remington 1100 12 gauge and I'd like to replace the furniture. Any suggestions as far as synthetic stocks go? Are they hard to replace? Is it better to go with Remington replacements? Any suggestions would help.

Ok, is it because its just an 1100, or does everyone think that replacement stocks are a bad idea. I want to replace the stocks because I'm thinking of starting my son in hunting in a year or so, the 1100 will be for him. I think I'm going to be buying a Benelli.

Sorry, I don't have any experience replacing stocks on an 1100, but it seems pretty straight forward. Look at Brownells, or Midway etc - there's likely good replacements out there...
