Should I be worried?

I was cleaning my Glock 22 today and noticed 2 marks on the slide on opposite sides of the bottom of the slide rails, in the middle of the ejection port. They look like a shallow U shape.

Is this something that I should be worried about or no?

I took a couple of pictures but couldn't get my old P.a.S. camera to focus so well:

Do not worry. Do not even worry about figuring out if you have to worry.

This is covered in the Glock armorer's course, and is not a problem. You will see those two marks appear after some use, but they will not progress and will not cause you any problems.

Probably nothing, but it's hard to tell without a better picture.

Yea, sorry about that. My camera is kinda old. [sad]

What causes it, the friction of the slide?

What were you thinking?!?!?

I dunno, hahaha, I got nothin' else to do on my day off.

I have similar marks on my G22 that I bought as a refurb. So far so good and I've put a fair amount of rounds down the tube so I wouldn't worry about them as the previous posters have said.

No worries. Totally normal. Most prominent on the .40s. It happens when the frame flexes and the locking block impacts the underside of the slide. It's 1000000% normal. Glock techs call it 'slide peening'.
