Should I put a muzzle brake on my AR ?

Though it's not a 223 I have a Noveske in 300 Blackout with a Battlecomp muzzle brake and it works quite well and the blast is directed upward rather than to the sides like the Miculek,

put a battlecomp on my newest build and i can say with confidence that it's the "bomb diggity". i like my miculek because people hate it, but i like the battlecomp because it works so damn well. don't get me wrong--the miculek serves a purpose but if i was in the market to replace that i'd go with a battlecomp hands-down.
