Show me your gun/s that you actually shoot...

I'd use up too much bandwidth.

Try this:

My daily carry for the last 6 years, 1997 vintage SIG P228. I bought it from a police officer who used it as his off-duty CCW from new. I definitely shoot it much more often than any other pistol or long gun I own. It has seen countless thousands of rounds and a lot of holster wear, bumps, bruises, etc. I have thought a few times about refinishing it, but....naw! If rust ever becomes an issue, I will. It looks MUCH better in these pics than it really is. Just about every raised edge is shiny, lots of scratches, rusty grip screws, etc. WHen I clean it I give the frame and slide a rub-down with a lightly oiled rag, so that and the bad lighting/crappy camera makes it look nicer in these pics.

Those are great pics, but they were way to clean to be regular shooters. Seems like you spend as much time cleaning as you do shooting...

But they are nice guns.

I've got a ton of safe queens but these are the ones I take out to play... 99% of the time I'm shooting my open guns and I put more rounds thru these guns in one year than most shooters will shoot in a lifetime... HAHA

Enjoy,
Pete

Damn! I normally don't mark out for modern pistol porn but this one has me almost ready to rub one out.[wink]

HAHA!!! Come to a USPSA match and we'll convert you. LOL

It's a Brazos Custom (www.brazoscustom.com) and he builds the sweetest competition guns. I have 4 of his guns and would buy more in a heartbeat if I could afford it. HAHA He's getting about $5K a pop!!!

I do clean them after every range trip... usually right when I get home. The Doctor tells me it's a disease where I not only like shooting my guns... but I like how pretty they are too. [wink]

I've seen your main gun in action... and no... I don't want to try it [smile] My wallet literally shrivels up in fear if I even think about trying it out [laugh]

And that Trojan is DAMN nice.

I shoot them all.[smile]

Pete, you're starting to get quite a family there. I remember when you had only one or two! Keep up the good work!

Tell me about the SA revolvers.
Thanks. The SAA's are Uberti model P's in .44-40 that I bought years ago. I've put Colt style hammers in them so they don't have that ugly safety so common to Italian replicas. The grips were laser engraved by my friend Russ N Hound www.cowboyandcowgirl.com

Funny story about these. I saw them at the Big E gunshow. The gent at the table made me an offer on the pair that I could not turn down, however I'd not finished the show yet and did not want to spend all my money right then. I walked the rest of the show and they were both still there when I returned. Needless to say, I bought them. Turns out the dealer is Greg Cauldwell of The Powder Keg in Mansfield MA. I laugh that a man from Brockton had to travel to Springfield to meat a dealer from Mansfield.

From that deal came my joining Manfield Fish and Game and Greg and I have been friends ever since. I now work the shows with him whenever time permits and he needs help.[smile]

Been testing hand loads for my AR10 over the last 4 months of weekends... Over 1400 rounds through this rifle so far. I've found 4 loads that this rifle really likes...

Once I'm done tweaking the powder weights, here's what will soon be the next 1000 rounds....
