SIG Verdict

Ruh roh.

It'll get massively reduced on appeal. . . and the guy is gonna wait a LONG time for his payout.

I'm suprised there isn't a class-action against them for the gun at this point. Maybe it's "proving it."

Remember, I'm old enough to remember the Pinto trial. The plaintiffs used the WORST example to try the case on. And lost. Ford walked away Scott-free. Lee Iaccoca and his cadre calcuated that the lawsuits would cost less than the fix. And they were right. But picking a GOOD example case is key to the plaintiffs. Just feeling like this was bad isn't good enough. You need to show WHY the gun does what it does.

#1: The proportions are all wrong. This is what a blind gunsmith from the Kuiber Pass made after holding a 1911 once.
#2: Not a SCAR, so zero points for copying Jaque's homework.

This looks like a part in a 1960's USSR floor polishing machine that connects the vacuum hose to the motor. No thanks.

Looks much better from this side and with a nice wooden handle like that. One so far!

The controls for "Opps I have fallen and I can't get up" crowd. Comes with a free big button TV remote that lights up at night. This one doesn't count, but gets an honorable mention for its misenscene.

From the perspective of an engineer, this is easily one of the prettiest guns ever made IMO. This is what happens when form follows function. Fits like a custom glove, and my most accurate pistol second only to my Derr 1911. And it was $400.

It looks like an electric drill from the 1940s.

Handled one of them at a shop. The Sig 2022 frame plastic just felt... toyish? Not dense and textured like Glock, HK, or even on the level of FN. Maybe their later polymer pistols are better.

Try shooting one, hold on let me get my phone and post a pic of my 25 yard groups using winchester white box
