Newer P220s can probably be rebuilt into DAKs if you have the parts/patience/time. The newer P220 frames have the necessary clearances. (Any frame marked UU, etc, will probably work, may be some others... )

Whatever you do don't call up the factory and tell them you're converting an MA gun and want parts to do so, they'll say "no" probably because they don't want the AG going "wah" at them or some foolishness lawyerism, but it's still trivial to get the parts... problem is the cost... IIRC it's well over $100 worth of parts for a DAK conversion. The only cheap way is to find someone that converted in the other direction. (some people hate it and go to DA/SA.... ) These parts get snapped up pretty quickly on the secondary market, so if you see them being sold somewhere you have to jump on them like a chiuaua on a porkchop. If you hesitate someone else in MA -will- buy them. [laugh]

You can get 7s, 8s, and 10s that stick out the bottom of the gun. The 8s do too, but not very much. (like a low profile bumper on a wilson 1911 mag). The 7s are generally flush fit. The 10s are only being sold by the factory (afaik) and are big money... ($45-50?, although they may be available on the secondary market by now, who knows..). You can get 8 rnd ACT mags for like $22, IIRC, or maybe less. IIRC ACT-MAG iis the OEM for Sig on these, although they vary slightly in appearance... but design looks the same.

One debate you will hear is the purists like the original 7 round metal follower with the teat on it, some guys like the
newer 8 rounders with the little dashes in it, but IMO there isn't any real difference. I have a smattering of all of
them and they all work equally well. Supposedly the newer mags will drop better during a sort of "tac reload"
where you're dropping a mag that still has rounds in it; supposedly with the older 8 rounders a round might get hung slightly forward requiring one to pull the partially loaded mag out, instead of it dropping free, but I haven't had that
problem...
