I built this 1/48 scale model of the Swordfish on floats. the wingspan is 11 1/2 inches. As the veteransd in the viso state, it was a big plane and sometimes the put an extra fuel tank in the cockpit displacing the gunner. A little known fact is that the British had a policy of only allowing voice radio in single-seat aircraft. Multi-seat aircraft used Morse code. This was because of the big difference in accenst through the British Empire.
