Goose's pictures got me thinking about getting serious and finishing my Norinco project.
I'm going to send the trigger group out to be worked and that'll give me motivation to drill and tap the receiver plus notch the Choate stock for the Choate side mount scope rail. I've been dragging my feet because I've never drilled and tapped a receiver before but I already have everything along with lots of information on installing the mount. Plus my LTC renewal went through with no problems so I know the rifle isn't going anywhere and I've got a good supply of Golden Tiger ammo which this rifle shoots very accurate with.
This is no plug for the add but one other reason why I'm anxious to finish this project is because the Norinco w/no bayonet lug like mine thats in the classifieds is such a killer deal that I can't believe no one has bought it yet. I can't look at it without picturing it set up in a Choate stock all scoped and ready to go.
