Looks like you'll need to sell it to me, then you can fund one for 9x18.

Awesome find though congrats!

Shot mine last week for the first time as well.
- The sights get small fast, holding it out like a pistol.
- I was out around 50yds and was hitting an 8" steel plate pretty easily.
- Recoil was nice
- Trigger is nice and crisp
- Forgot to bump fire it -- I heard it really easily bump fires!

This is the combat range at Ames.

Still waiting for the Form 1 to come through, I really need that ****ing stock.

SO! Time to do a write-up.

The combat load carried by the owner of a Skorpion is 50 rounds which is half a box of .32. I don't know if they planned it that way, but it's convenient to just deal with half-box plastic holders. I was using the discount S&B ammo, did not have a single jam or malfunction out of 100 rounds. Watch out for the reciprocating knobs, don't try to hold it pistol style too much with two hands. The Czechs made the magwell deep and solid, so you can get a firm grip on the curved mag with your support hand.

There are few guns that give me a full boner when firing, but this is one of them.

Follow-up shots with the two handed grip are a snap, so you can unload a full 20 mag or a string of 10 rounds in no time and still hit the target with a high degree of accuracy. The peep sights are surprisingly good for the ranges that you would normally be shooting at. 10/10 would do again.

My SOT has a pre sample skorpian. It is one of the funnest guns I can think of, not sure many guns can top it.

You all unfortunately missed out on Czechpoint's stock adapter plates by about 24hrs.

masturb8. i'm digging it, homie.

granted that's a commie/eastern-european beast and that accounts for a lot, but i had problems like crazy with S&B ammo about a year ago. fired 1,000 rounds in a weekend and ended up with close to 25 or 30 failures with good primer strikes, and then 15 rounds of those failures were just total duds.

I broke a tap drilling and tapping my receiver for the stock plate. It took me a friggin week to dig out that broken tap. Be careful with those tiny 6/32 taps - don't force them.

edit: I should note in case that happens to anyone else that I almost took the bitch to get EDMed to get the tap out, but ended up using diamond bits on a dremel to sloooooowly pick it apart. Took a while but worked.

The receivers being sold now come pre-drilled for an M4 thread.

I've now shot 200 rounds of S&B ammo through my Skorpion without a single failure. You might have had a bad batch, atilla.

Ditto on the S&B -- no issues with 100 rounds. Thanks for the correction EvilDragon -- I forgot the new plates are different and meant for the predrilled receivers.

very possible. i never did follow up with the company, but considering it was a whole case i should have recorded the lot number and pitched a bitch.

when your form 1 goes through i'd love it if you could bring it to a NES shoot for me to finger bang sometime as a form 1'd skorp is something on my wish list to own.
