Springfield Hellcat

How reliable have you found it to be? Finicky about what sort of ammo you feed it or runs well on whatever?
Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks,

This particular woman is a bit of a hard ass. German born and raised in the most stereotypical way, went through school on a golf scholarship, rides a 600#, 1100cc, full sized adv bike. I’m thinking she’s got some wrist and forearm.

She’s going to a shop/range to try some stuff out but asked particularly about the Hellcat and a couple others because she liked the way it felt in her hands.

I will pass on your comments. Appreciate it.
check out Sportsman Fulfillment for pricing, That is where I purchased mine late last year

I paid $440 for pistol/ 5 mags / bag

I like it over the S&W Shield plus. Not much difference between the two by way of looks or size but the Hellcat to me has a better trigger. Even though my Shield is a P.C. version with fiber optics sights, I find a better point of aim, poi with the Hellcat but that's probably more a personal trait and not to take away from the shield. I wouldn't call either a "Micro", a compact yes. Of the recent rash of newer micros, I'm really liking the BG 380 v 2.0.

More like what type for starters. For most of my semies, I stick with FMJ. With the shield and others I try various brands and weights and I've had no problems at all. On 9mm's X 19 and x 17 (.380 acp) I like European ammunition given a choice in say S&B, Fiocchi but I've used Federal and others, still, no issues. With revolvers I'm all over the map from wad cutters, hollow points, hardcasts, etc. I also hand load for all my calibers so there is that.
