Springfield XD40 I love it!

I had the pleasure to pop off some rounds of a Springfield XD40 while at the range this past saturday. A gentleman was just setting up when I was breaking down to leave the pistol range. He had a full size SW1911 that had a kimber .22 conversion kit on it.. pretty dam sweet. A para warthog for his carry (which he said he like alot I know others have said some not so flattering things about them). And the Springfield which I mentioned I have always been interested in getting one but had not had the chance to shoot yet. He was kind enough to load me up and let me go to work. The trigger pull was awesome the gun felt perfect in my hands and he had changed the sites over to some fancy Titrinim or something like that - which acquired the target quickly. The recoil was very almost non existant and I had the biggest smile on my face after dropping 12 in the 9/10 rings.

Fired TD's XD-45 at the 4th shoot and I was impressed....

I think I would go for any variation of it .. 9, 40, 45 ... as long as it fits me the same way the 40 did I would be happy.

I have one (40 service mod) and I am very pleased with it.

I have the 45 compact and the 9mm full size and I am very pleased with both, also.
