sr1911 issue solved

on close examination i found that the slide was riding the dust cover. i removed the slide and applyed a sharpy to both the edges of the dustcover and the front underside of the slide, reassembled and worked the slide.if i point the pistol away from me the sharpy was gone from the left side of the dustcover and the corresponding spot on the slide (not the right side). i repeated a few times and always the same. dunno if this is a huge problem but my ocd took over. i used 400 sandpaper and a hardwood block and removed material from the dustcover very little at a time untill it cleared. it does now clear and my ocd is happy again.

almost forgot to mention that i also removed the owners manual warning from the dustcover, great improvement although if i get bored there's a lot less to read on my ruger lol
