Sr1911 wait time

Are these still hard to get? I know there are some available at a few places but if I ordered one from a specific lgs, is there a long wait to get one or has the supply caught up with demand?

I'm curious if it's days, weeks, months....

I've seen several here in the classifieds lately, most at a very good price. And the price for new ones is less than I paid last year, so it seems demand is down and you should have no problem finding one.

Thanks, I know they are in Stock in places, I'm just curious how long I should expect to wait if I ordered one from a specific shop that did not have them in stock.

Pullman has both cmd and regular in stock for 650. They are in just about every shop ive gone in lately. I see a lot more 1911s in stock now of every flavor

Why order one?

With a short drive you could get one that youve looked over etc, and walk out the doir with it today? you could order one wait forever and it could arrive screwed up and then youd be waiting again.

Because I had to use a damn store credit, that's why, and the place I ordered it from isn't known for excellent communication so I'm trying to figure out of I'll be waiting weeks, months, or years.

Agree that it seems like they're all over the place locally, however interestingly enough, my father is down in southern NJ and his LGS says they can't get any SR1911's.

Shop says "distributor has no ETA, just waiting for them"...
