I went once pre covid and it was worse than Marlboro.I haven’t been to this show. Anyone know how it is?
BTs was the highlight after the showIf you go, realize there are two rooms connected by a hallway that is not a straight shot. In the past I've overheard people walking out talking about how small it was that didn't realize there was a whole other room.
being inside during January I would go just for something to do, things to look at etc. ymmv but I always had a decent time. lunch at BT's smokehouse up the street, stop in at Bron classic firearms not too far further up the road either. gives me something to do. I may have just planned my Saturday...thanks lol
It's a smaller show generally with much of the floor space devoted to antique firearms. Worst part is that the main room lighting is poor and the aisles are narrow and crowded. It's not a very enjoyable experience.I haven’t been to this show. Anyone know how it is?
Save your entrance fee and just get an extra half pound of brisketIf you go, realize there are two rooms connected by a hallway that is not a straight shot. In the past I've overheard people walking out talking about how small it was that didn't realize there was a whole other room.

Glad the food was good. I won't go to my local BT. They love pushing the LGTBQ crap on the exterior. Good for them but makes me think they probably don't like my stance on other topics.BTs was the highlight after the show
"Modern" is vastly over-rated.It's more of an antique gun show then a modern gun show.....It was fun, but if you're looking for something from the modern day you'd be better served visiting local gun stores.
Never heard of it will have to check it out I drive by there all the time any good ?Murphy's Law gun shop is just down Route 20 a bit in Spencer, right next to Rapscallion brewery. ;-)
Nice guys, nice place, next to the brewery. When I last went, it was right before/during all the law changes, so it was hectic and kind of barren. Not sure how it is now that things have settled into whatever they are for now. Left after the Big Y plaza if you're heading East. Across from the National Grid facility. There is also a pub on the left before Rapscallions/Murphy's.Never heard of it will have to check it out I drive by there all the time any good ?
lol. I was going to head down there on Sunday.I've been robbed. BT closed until January 7th.
Stopped by Sunday as I was in area they weren’t open as their website said 12-4That might be a good place to meet other NES'rs. Go to the shop, and then some beers.

Rapscallion is ok but IMHO Timber Yard that is 3 minutes up the road towards Klems is much betterMight try to head over to Murphy's and Rapscallion either tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday afternoon. Who else lives near there?
Also good. Timber Yard is cold unless it is packed with people. Raps is more friendly and cozy, plus I know some of the people there. They both need a big pot-bellied stove and Christmas lights for "atmosphere". Oh, and peanuts and/or popcorn.Rapscallion is ok but IMHO Timber Yard that is 3 minutes up the road towards Klems is much better
