Submitted efa-10 without seller info

I wouldn't worry about it at all, but...

There is/was something called the "E-FA-10 DELETION REQUEST FORM." Google it.

Not sure if such forms are still accepted. You'd have to call the FRB to know for certain.

EDIT: Snora beat me to it. [thumbsup]

First time poster here. Just had a question: I've been in the talks with a family member who lives out of state and wants to transfer a new handgun to me. I got confused in my own research on the transferring of firearms and ended up on the efa-10 form of the ma gun portal. My issue is that I was a dumb ass and submitted a registration for the firearm (it's brand new so no worries about being used in a crime etc.) without seller info, I did not think the form itself would go through without all info of both parties involved. Just want to know how to best rectify this problem seeing as the firearm in question is still out of state, no money has traded hands, and hasnt even been brought to an FFL down in their neck of the woods to be transferred to one up here. Thanks in advance.
FYI, you cannot do personal transfers across state lines. That would be a federal felony. Transfers across state lines must be through an FFL. For handguns, that FFL must be in the same state as the buyer’s residence.

Yeah I know that much now. The efa 10 I accidently submitted was tagged as a registration not transfer, and again. I am not in possession of said firearm and frankly this all has me sweating a bit in regards to out of state transfers so I'm just gunna tell the sender I'm all set lmao. Just gunna stick to buying straight from MA ffl's like I have been for my other arms.
