Looking for a good ballistics calculator for bullet drop/windage.
I'm shooting everything from .22LR to .308Win.

You folks know any good ipad/iphone/tablet apps for such calculations?
i'm willing to pay some $, doesn't need to be free. When i looked on the app store there were waaay too many for me to chose and i didn't feel like dropping $10 for each one.

suggestions appreciated.
thx.

I like iStrelok. You could define rifle profile, set up reactive, and back up to DropBox. Not very expensive

What do you do with the info?

mostly determine drop.
useful for beyond 200 yards when i shoot .223, 17hmr and especially 22lr.

i enjoy changing 22lr ammo and trying to predict changes in trajectory. when i can jump from a flat and fast 26gr up to slow 40gr and hit my target on first few shots - yeah feels good.

im a geek.

do u not do the same?

Shooter, easy to use and straight forward, probably what youre looking for. There are Better, more advanced programs.

Or you can use jbm ballistics and make a dope card.

On my phone will write more later

I ended up w isnipe and am pretty happy w it.
nothing too fancy but works fine for my applications.
thx everyone!

IPhones have horrible ballistics. IPad are clay pigeon like with their larger size. I find they hook at around 100'. Good luck. I hope this helps.
