Anyone know anything about a plan from Tactical Arts Group (TAG) to expand in the industrial complex on Industrial Dr at the Pelham/Hudson border? We live nearby and someone just left a rather inflammatory note in our mailbox about this proposed project so I'd like to learn more about it. The www.nhtag.org website is down and I can't find any more information beyond the agenda item from the 11/3 pelham planning board item.

Thanks for any pointers or notes about who to contact to learn more about the proposed project?

In addition to being nearby, I wonder if the proposed facility will be something I might want to use.

I heard the same thing from somebody I know that attends their practices at Pelham F&G. Why don't you contact the TAG guys and ask them?

I would be happy to if I had contact info. As I mentioned, the website is broken and I don't have any contact info. Can you post or PM me with contact info?

went to a number of sessions about 5 years ago. wouldn't necessarily say it was good training for IDPA. It was more of a loose scenario based shooting course with significantly less "rules" than IDPA. Target engagement round count was at the discretion of the shooter for each scenario. I recall one scenario where some guy engaged a target with about 15 rounds to "neutralize" the threat while pushing a baby in a shopping cart. I think it lost steam after a while due to lack of interest of participants. I initially enjoyed it but had a bad experience with egos and slowly became less interested. I'd be curious to see what they are planning.

I lost interest when I saw a wacky video of one of the TAG guys SO-ing an IDPA match and keeping his arms around the shooter like he was guarding him in basketball.

LOL. I did one there while holding a baby carrier ! [rofl]

^ i think it was the Walmart scenario! hahaha. This one guy basically unloaded a full mag into a target about 3 yards away. It was one of those head scratching moments. In his defense the IDPA cardboard target didn't seem phased so............

I've seen the same video and your analogy is spot on

OMG, I never saw that video until just now. He appears to be using a stop watch. I guess that's more tactical than a shot timer.

WTF. I shot a match with them back when they were at Nashau F&G and the SO didn't pull crap like that.
